Just an FYI, there’s a Feedback Thread about Slate.
Thanks for clearing that up stoyannk :). Sorry i was a bit confused with Visual Tools available row. Since you meant WYSIWYG, you are right. Its None for both.
Hi . Thanks for the answer. So after 30-days what happens? Will the UI we already made stops working or we wont be able to add new elements to the HUD? Can i have a suggestion on removing that 30-day trial but still keeping the watermark so users wont be able to use it in a commercial app anyway but instead they can learn to use the plugin and improve their skills in their own time and later decide whether they need to buy it or not?
By the way…After the trial expires will we be able to simply upgrade the trial license to commercial license without re-downloading the whole plugin?
I have the same question.
After the 30-days trial the UI stops working - the UI initialization fails and Views can’t be used. But you can request an extension of the trial and none of your work will be lost
Of course, you can simply upgrade to commercial license
I’m waiting for a conclusive (UE4) price point. With Epic adding its own WYSIWYG editor at some point in the near future* (making Slate more user friendly for those of us not experienced in UI programming), I have yet to decide whether it’s worth the wait for my current project.
Hey Daydreamer,
We will be releasing our pricing options for UE4 very soon and of course, we will keep you posted.
Hey everyone,
I would personally like to thank you all for evaluating our beta plugin for Unreal Engine 4. Our mission is to develop a great UI tool for fellow developers and in order to be able to address the right spots, we need to understand as much as possible for your team and project. We have created a survey, which will not only help us prioritize our development efforts, but will also help us provide you with the best options for licensing Coherent UI.
We will choose one random winner among the people submitted the survey to win full commercial Coherent UI for UE4 license! The license will be provided for free and the winner will have to sign a licensing agreement with us. Please submit the survey only once. The survey takes less than 20 minutes.
Submission deadline: May 8th.
Thank you very much for your time and Good Luck!
