New unreal project with friends, how to source control?

Hey all, thanks for all the advice in this thread. I’m one of the collaborators in Gazzardis’ project, and we god Git set up and are not making good progress. One thing I’m not so clear on is merging and versioning when we have non-text files like UE4 uses.

Will the plugin version these for us somehow? Or are we forced to manually merge everything, as it’s not text and Git doesn’t know how to merge it? For instance, if 2 people add nodes to a blueprint, will UE merge them for us, or will Github be able to do it, or is it something we need to do manually by opening both versions up and copying nodes?
