I’ve been trying to implement a wallrun mechanic into the GASP, using information ive obtained through forums, youtube, and even all the free ai options.
When I fix one thing, something different breaks.
Im a complete newbie outside of some basic UEFN stuff, i somehow managed to make a 1st person wall run mechanic several months ago and this is proving more difficult.
Here is a video showing the BPs in the event graph and the effect so far. I had it where triggering the trace would propel me up indefinitely, and then where it wouldnt do that but would shoot me backwards 20 feet lol but not forward… Now it just freezes me in the air for a second each time i press the keybind. Its not pushing me toward the wall like i need (maybe the trace isnt actually working?) and im not able to continue forward velocity.
Any guidance would be appreciated!
