Nanite Landscape and Material problems in 5.6

I just updated in version 5.6.1. Unfortunately the bug is still here.

This bug is still present in UE 5.6.1.

My bug seemed to go away w/561.

Plus performance has improved ~25% in some cases… :lab_coat:

Same problem, ue 5.6.1 did not fix it please some one find a way to fix it

Same issue, using 5.6.1.

I have the same issue. I can run on the terrain and procedural grass display’s correctly but the landscape on the two sections I’ve added nanite two have areas missing. The rest are fine.

Hello! Thank you all for reporting this issue. The bug shared here has been identified and fixed for 5.7. The regression impacts landscapes with more than 64 landscape components per landscape proxy. In most World Partition setups, the proxy component count is typically low (< 64 components per proxy) so nanite building appeared to be working as expected. In Non-World Partition setups there is only 1 Landscape Proxy and this bug resulted in only the first 64 components being built by nanite.

The fix will be in 5.7 but if you are building the engine from source you can implement the changes found here: https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/commit/c2f796cb16783c89dcad1214d01d21df7a99564e

In the future, you can directly report a bug following these instructions: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/support/report-a-bug. Our team will receive direct bug reports faster than forum posts.

Thanks again,
Jared

The Github-URL you posted gives a 404.

Thank you for your reply, but I hope the issue in UE5.6 will be fixed.

I think i’m at the same point now. I can’t. Load any landscape of the map. Everything was ok in 5.5.4 but after updating to 5.6 I can’t load any level.
