It’s been a while since I didn’t update here. The development of the prototype has slowed down a bit but it’s still an ongoing process.
I’ve added several equipable item types to start building up the other classes than the warrior (still with Diablo 2 and 3 assets :p). You can check out the progress here:
I slowed down the working process regarding the programming this past month and I think it will continue at this pace for at least two months.
Elijah (environment artist) is still aboard and JP (Jean Pierre, Weapon Artist) just joined us. The goal remains the same: delivering a small & free .exe in a few months.

On the artistic side of the things we have been importing lots of assets for the Dwarven Dungeon. We’d like to make a showcase video in the next weeks.
JP started working on Bows, Quivers, Sources, Staves and Daggers. But we’ll have nothing to show for at least a month.

These are pretty “common” spells you might think but most of the spells will be what the “cliche” suggest and then you’ll be able to customize to fit your own playstyle with “Runes”. It looks really similar to Diablo 3 in its form but the content will be much more gameplay oriented than damage oriented (Diablo is all about doing more damages, I’m hoping to make something that recquires way more thought process behind your build).

Here we go for this (big) update. I’m planning on updating the first page that is getting really old by now.
Man this is just amazing work. I would LOVE to see your multiplayer inventory (with vendors and buy back functions) make it onto the marketplace some day. Heck I would love to see this entire project on there for that matter. Any chance you can package up the inventory system for me? I would happily pay you a fair price!

Regarding the multiplayer inventory, I’m afraid I’ll have nothing to feed you. In its current state, it’s a real mess. It wouldn’t make it through the marketplace validation process. And I wouldn’t want to charge you for it. I could explain and / or show you how it works (quickly). I might do tutorials in the future but don’t expect it anytime soon, I’m overcharged with work these days. I’m sorry not to be of any more help
Massive update regarding the A-RPG, it’s now called [FONT=Book Antiqua]Sacred Swords!
I have spent the last two weeks building up my player settings system and it’s now up and running!
