Multi-tile UV

Hi,

i am trying to import in CR a mesh having multi-tile UV. I have generated that mesh in CR and then i have manually created the multi-tile UV in order to have a higher resolution only in some part of the mesh. Now, i would like to re-import the mesh in CR for reprojection but i get an error saying the mesh i am trying to import has “a texture coordinate u or v bigger than 1”.
Should the mesh have only a single UV tile when imported for reprojection?

In what application are you creating the UVs ?
And have you not tried ADAPTIVE TEXEL SIZE option directly in RC ??

thanks for this immediate reply…Actually, I was about to write you on FB :stuck_out_tongue: . I made the UVs in 3DsMax and i am trying the ATS exactly while i am writing. I am just wondering if there is a faster way…I have actually thought to reproject at 16K by using a single tile UV, then exporting and baking that map onto the multitile UV by using xNormals…but i am not sure it is going to work. Making several try with the ATS can be very time consuming…
