Moving thousands of items on conveyor belt. In theory I know how to improve, but in practice Im absolutely clueless

Do you perhaps have a Tutoial on how to do that?
I am looking for one like this or with a onveyor track like with a tank wih a cenral gear whos speed i can set that powers/spins the belt and moves the objects on said belt.
