Yes we will, this was answered in the recent AMA. Also, player input binding is on the roadmap and it’s on the left side so we can probably expect it before the year is out IMO. Since we can already simulate direct user input, we can at least get a start on the content grind for such games.
To be fair, if you can already do this in UE, why not use UE? UEFN is, as of writing, the initial beta offering for the “metaverse expansion” for Fortnite, so it kinda makes sense that UEFN can’t do much more than Fortnite Creative already could. We have things like the sequencer and automagic netcode which already makes UEFN unique and a cut-above the MANY existing game dev platforms out there.
