More progress. =)
More progress. The middle piece is what’s been updated. Only a couple more and I’ll be caught up. Inching closer to release. =)
Will there be any props associated with the new pack? Or will there be a Props Pack 2?
Hey SaviorNT!
This is classified as an architectural pack, but there will be a few props (i.e. the lights, command center terminals). Architecture packs will feature props, it just won’t be the sole purpose. For example the Props I pack focused on futuristic office props. The architecture in there was meant to compliment the props, whereas the props in the architecture packs are meant to compliment the architecture when necessary. Hope that helps to explain it a bit.
I plan to redo one of the light fixtures, and create the two terminals last. You’ll be seeing progress on those soon. =)
Terminals… sounds great
Finally caught up! I’m very pleased with the improvements. It definitely has a better, more detailed look than before. All that’s left now are the two terminals, a remodeled light fixture and final polish. =)
Hey everyone!
I’m excited to announce I will be doing a collaboration with @Maximum-Dev for the video of Modular SciFi: Command Center. The video will utilize assets from the upcoming Affordable Landscape 2 pack and demonstrate how you can use the assets from both packs to create a beautiful environment. Here is a screenshot of the scene I created using the assets from the AL2 pack, which will be the view from the windows in the Command Center pack.
*Note: This collaboration is only for the video, AL2 landscape assets will not be included in Modular SciFi: Command Center, and vice versa.

Special thanks to @Maximum-Dev for agreeing to work on this video collab! =)
Here is the remodeled light fixture. Showing a version with and without the glass so you can see how it looks on the inside. =)
Here is an early WIP look at one of the terminal stations. There’s going to be a piece attached that serves as the display.
Going to have a really nice time walking through these interiors and looking at the violent lava rivers out the window :3
Haha, indeed! =P
that’s a great setting!
if you need some suitable ambient soundtrack you may have a look at my music:
Hey Matteo! I’m looking at some piano pieces for the video at the moment, but I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the offer. =)
Which style of piano? I have several tracks on audiojungle and pond5 (different licence…). You may have a look if there is something suitable or contact me directly!
Maybe not in every track the piano is the principal instrument… Look for “piano” in the title
Something melancholic. I’ve got a few in mind at the moment and I’m waiting to see how it pans out. I’ll take a look at your site as well and let you know if any catch my eye. =)
Here is some more progress. Just have the screen and some light emissives to place and it’s done. =)
Hey everyone!
I have a small update from last night, and some news on the pack. Once I complete the UI screen for this terminal and final polishing, I will be moving to release the pack. I wanted to do another terminal and some other pieces, but I’ve already extended the development for a month. I tend to be a perfectionist, so if I don’t stop myself the development on this pack will never end. (I always see new things I can add, especially late in process). Some of the ideas I had for this pack still have the possibility of living on in a future free expansion.
I’ve completed the terminal structure, having added the lights and decals to round it out. I’m looking forward to doing the UI screen, and trying something a little different than what I’ve done before. For those wondering, the console has been designed with the size of the UE4 mannequin in mind. If everything goes smoothly, Command Center should be releasing in the near future. More details to follow soon! =)
