I noticed in your screenshot that your current frame seems to be -34. I’m not quite sure why/how but it looks like the system may be in a state where it is trying to display a frame from before the start of the footage and therefore has no frame to display.
Could you try scrubbing through the footage or clicking on the -34 and changing the frame to one within the valid range.
