MeshBlend - A plugin for blending meshes, landscapes, etc in Unreal

It’s all good obviously, especially since Hallatore took no offense. Far too often people take credit for others’ works or hijack the popularity of someone’s product to promote their own. Which was why I foamed at the mouth there - this was a thread about MeshBlend, and you linked to your product. That’s what I saw. No toxicity there, I was calling it what it was. Speaking up about potential product cross-posting isn’t toxic, that’s being vigilant :face_savoring_food:

It’s a quality I won’t censor myself from. Our communities could use a little sharp honesty and calling things out like this. I’d rather be wrong and sound like a crazy person than for everyone to idly watch hijacking or theft and so on. Alas, since the creator is cool with it, all is good in the universe!

Just published update 1.4 to Fab!

Brings some quality fixes and visual improvements!

Im thinking of purchasing it but still am not 100% sure. Does meshblend replace the need for RVT? I know RVT had some issues with Nanite. Would Meshblend be a more performant option with nanite landscape and meshes compared to RVT?

Depends on your usecase for RVT. They overlap a lot in functionality, but also has their individual strengths.

MeshBlend works in screen space, so it works fine with nanite, displacement, WPO, POM or other effect that alters the mesh depth etc.

I highly recommend checking out the playable demo and the examples there. It has some RVT examples as well.

MeshBlend and MeshPack just dropped on the Fab October Flash Sale! :eyes:
