Mesh isn't smooth when i import from maya with Animation

Hello, i have the same problem:
First i import into Maya a skeletal mesh from Daz studio. I tried with FBX and DAE)

Insode MAYA: I smooth the mesh.

Next, i export the mesh into UE4. But ue4 always said that “no smoothing group was found”

So i created a LOD group inside MAYA. Then, i export the LOD group inside UE4 (within the LOD option).

The mesh is imported inside UE4 with the full resolution. But…But It’s not possible to import the skeletal (without a crash issue)
I tried gameexport, all options of export, import… nothing worked;

I imagine that it’s surely exist an issue.
Is someone has already met this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks a lo in advance…

What about the alembic file? When importing alembic from Maya to Unreal Engine, what option setting should I need to touch for adding smoothness in character or object?

IT’s 2024 now. The same question on maya2022 and UE5.
The question is when you import a fbx file to maya, which you export it with maya 1 minute ago, smooth will lose totally insane.
If you add smooth to the static mesh, not smooth preview, and then skeleton and weight,and bake animation and export, the smooth you added on the static mesh will lose too.
