massive issue - can't add images, can't open old projects

What the heck is going on?

I have a full liecense, which worked fine until last week.

 

Now:

  • any old (pre-2022) project the “Die Gültigkeitszeiträume der Zertifikatkette liegen nicht richtig”

  • if I drag&drop, say, 320 images into RC, it will load maybe 51. And give me the above error if I try to align.

  • if I click “align” again, I get an error message “the system has detected a corruption…:”

No other software has any complaints. Only RC. Nothing is wrong with the graphics drivers or so, nothing has changed.

And yeah, I tried to reset settings by starting with SHIFT. No help at all. I rebooted my PC 5 times, too. So it is NOT a windows-is-not-rebooting-for real issue.

Okay, new GPU drivers and new RC version (which I didn’t get notified to DL!) helped. Until reboot, when again RC crashed on opening old projects. Only AFTER a crash and restart of the application can I load old projects.

Hello,

There is an issue with version 1.2.0.16813RC since it was released before we were acquired by Epic Games.
The latest version, which is 1.2.0.17385RC has an Epic Game signature should do the thing as you’ve already noticed. It was also not able to check for updates.
