PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Sensorium Galaxy is a Social VR platform created for the next generation of entertainment experiences spanning a variety of virtual worlds.

We offer participation in the development of a large-scale project and the acquisition of a unique expertise of top developers on a global scale.

The first world, “Prism” is the destination for immersive electronic music experiences in the metaverse. It is the stage for some of the biggest DJs in the world: David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Carl ■■■, and many others. Each artist goes through photogrammetry scanning and motion capture. The resulting photorealistic avatars with life-like movements become the centerpieces in the production of out-of-this-world shows powered by Unreal Engine 4 with real-time raytracing (NvRTX) rendering in VR.

Avatars are key to the social experience of Sensorium Galaxy. Besides friends and like-minded people from all over the world, users get to meet Virtual Beings – AI-controlled characters with individual traits that can hold human-like generative conversations on any topic and become virtual companions in all their travels across Sensorium Galaxy.

Sensorium Galaxy is currently in a closed beta test on PC VR platform and will soon be entering PC Desktop (incl. cross-play functionality) testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development using C++.

Enhancement and optimization of rendering features on VR and Desktop platforms.

Further R&D of NvRTX capabilities, further adaptation and optimization of RTXDI and RTXGI for use in real-time VR.

Improvement of show lighting systems, leveraging RTXDI with hundreds of dynamic light sources driven by DMX protocol.

Optimizing rendering of crowd actors, audio-reactive VFX, avatars with complex materials (e.g. with translucency and other effects.)

Interaction with the tech art team.

Communication with technology consultants (e.g. RTX team at NVIDIA.)

Documentation of important information in Confluence or its equivalent.

SKILLS:

5+ years of C++ development experience.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

3+ years of Unreal Engine development experience.

Participation in commercial releases of multiplayer projects made in Unreal Engine 4 (high budget AAA projects are a plus).

Vast experience with graphics profiling tools: Nvidia Nsight, Unreal Insights.

Experience with RTXDI, RTXGI technologies and NvRTX branch of Unreal Engine 4 / 5.

Strong understanding of tech budget constraints, performance optimization.

ISO C++14.

Familiarity with Unreal Engine renderer source code, strong understanding of rendering pipelines.

Understanding of VR limitations and best practices.

Understanding of raytracing, RTX implementation.

Passion for modern graphics features (e.g. RTX).

Shading languages knowledge, GLSL/HLSL

Crossplatform development experience.

OpenGL or DirectX API knowledge

Experience with DMX Plugin for Unreal Engine.

Editor extensions experience (Editor Utilities, Plugins).

Perforce experience.

LANGUAGES:
English: B2 (Upper Intermediate) / C1 (Advanced) is a plus.
Exceptions can be made for specialists with substantial professional experience.
