I have the same issue, with UE 4.18.3 and VS2017.
LogVSAccessor: Warning: Visual Studio is open but could not be queried - it may be blocked by a modal operation
I will rollback to 4.16.3 or 4.15.3.
Was having this issue in 4.18.3, upgraded to 4.19.0, now it’s gone. Both the label and VS opening a separate instance.
I’m glad to see it being fixed. This bug annoyed me. Even though there was a workaround, it was a little tedious.
Still getting it in 4.19 with VS2017.
It still happens to me in 4.19.2.
Same. A simple dismiss notification button on it would be a nice bandaid at least.
