Late night here and losing my mind a little so apologise in advanced if I have just missed something simple.
Having a strange issue where a line trace just doesn’t return a hit result when it should? Was making a quick gun with a line trace and when shooting it multiple times at the same object only some return hit results. This seems to only happen within the gun actor and when doing the same linetrace within the player character it hit’s 100% of the time. When the debug shows no hit, the linetrace function returns false too
What is confusing is that the line trace debug does also terminate at the object instead of going straight through the object like it would if there was no collision
