I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Once you’ve installed the engine and the launcher gives you the error, could you check the install directory and verify that the engine files are showing? If you go with the default folder choice, they will be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games
If the installed engine does show, please see if you can run the EXE manually. This will be located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\4.10\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor.exe
Also, could you please include your DxDiag in your response?
