I am trying to launch my character upwards (with the launch character function) in such a way that it reaches a certain height h. I am using the formula v = sqrt(2gh) to calculate the z component of the launch velocity (I have attached screenshots of the blueprint). When I plug the velocity, calculated using the formula above, into the launch character function, for some reason the jump height is much lower than what it should be. I don’t understand what I am doing incorrectly.
