Hi Orthan, can you give me some suggestion to aettings for normal reconstruction, i tryed default settigs and the process is too long, i had problems with cache and after some attempts crach, i need to understand in which way i can find right settings to speed up process in particular it seems that grouping depth maps process is very slow.

Hi, yes, you just share the project file and project folder with your co-worker. You are able to export from the project also without the inputs.
For PPI you need to send also the images and it is a good idea to send the PPI license, too.

To your second question, the pre-defined settings should be the best. As you have a lot of inputs, the longer time is expected. Are you using internal or external SSD?

i have some problems to resolve coloring and texturing process i need to understand which parameters affect more processing time these two process.
For reconstruction i found that decimation seems to be a goodway to control time…but coloring and texturing bring me crazy…
i worked with nvme internal hd…

For such big models you can try divider script like in this example: Processing of the Habitat 67 Scan Data with the 3D Divider Script | Tutorial

The texturing also depends on the amount of the images and model’s size. Which settings are you using?

Also, regarding th texturing you need to consider this amount of cache for texturing:
500 bytes of storage for each triangle, or 1kb every 2 tris, or 1mb every 2000 tris, or 1 gb every 2 million tris, or 1tb every 2billion tris

In the texture process, are you getting some crashes or it does it just take a long time?

i had one crash related to unwrapping, other problems are related with long processing…i understand that i’m processing a lot of data and a i understand that there are hardware limits…

Was it a hard crash or red error? If red error, what kind of it?
