I’m making an automatic material for a desert, one of the features is the slope setting, where the material paints a texture to make the ripples in the sand caused by the wind, but all the textures are in the same direction and not in the direction of the dune itself. Where can I fix it so that all the ripples are in the direction of the dunes’ fall?
You need to put a world aligned texture node on that texture, one of the setting on that should give you the desired result. Not at my computer right now but I’ll try to remember to post it later
I’ll send a print of how my texture is so far regarding the inclination and the WorldAligned function.
Try inputing .1 on the world space normal pin on the world aligned texture node
I don’t know if this was what you suggested but it didn’t work, the orientation of the textures remains the same, here the problem is visible, I need to invert these for example in the direction of the dune’s descent, without the others that are in the right direction changing, I don’t know if there is a way to do this with master material.
