Landscape artifacts

Hi.

I’ve been running through some tutorials about landscape creation in UE4. I am quite happy with what i achieved but i run through some artifacts and i cannot seem to get rid of them. I attach you a pic of what’s happening.

Initially i thought it was the material i created, but even when it’s refreshing shaders (as in the pic) you can see the artifacts. The material itself is a slope masked snow + rocks so no painting layers in the landscape.

Any help on what it can be?

I also get this in various places, and have seen other reports of it, but don’t have a solution yet… Even with very simplistic materials.
