Laggy/stuck mouse movement

UE5, in my 3rd person game when microadjusting my mouse the aim sometimes gets stuck. It is very noticable when trying to aim on something that is far away.

I have a camera on a springarm with no camera lag and I’m using the enhanced input system. No mouse smoothing and no deadzones.
I’ve recorded a video of the issue, hopefully you can see that the mouse gets stuck sometimes when moving the mouse continuously:

Sorry If I wasn’t clear, I know how to set up character aiming/looking stuff and it works. The problem appears when I move the mouse very slowly, like when I’m trying to aim at something far away, the look movement sometimes gets stuck like it doesn’t register that I’m moving the mouse at all.

Ooo okey I say your video about it, that’s strange… If you are using the input action, how are those settings in the input mapping context? Is it like mine…
Note: I’m using a inverter so you wouldn’t have a moddifier as mine.

How is your Project settings and search mouse. Like below?

I copied your mapping context and mouse settings but nothing worked. I tried the old input system (in project settings) and it worked great, no stucky mouse! I guess its a temporary fix until I find a solution for the new input system.

No problem Luttwig! We have tried something :stuck_out_tongue:. Great to hear you have found a temporary solution. Yeah the new input system works great but it isn’t old so maybe there are some issues like yours.
