I really like this idea because it’s a big problem that only the character class supports movement prediction at the moment.
My idea was to create an actor component in bp that you can assign to any actor - no matter if it’s a controllable pawn, a physics object etc. - and that does the job for you. But it’s in a very early state and currently I’m trying to understand the theory of movement prediction in detail to get this done which is not the easiest task if you are not a “real” programmer.
So I personally would really LOVE to see the prediction functionality for every kind of actor in unreal from the official epic side because it’s simply crucial for multiplayer games and would open the doors for really fancy games
