"Lack of docs" whining has been a hot topic for years. Is there a viable solution? I think so.

I honestly think we shouldn’t be reading the code of the engine to be able to know what the API means. No documentation at all, still confusing for newcomers. I have experience in c++ and this is being so painful that I can’t really understand why Epic is not paying a couple of guys to keep updating and adding stuff.

Still a problem. Especially for c++. Looking at source shouldn’t be an excuse for the sad state documentation is in.
It’s really annoying.

Hell, I’d volunteer to help! This situation is pretty rough to put it lightly. There’s some VR documentation that existed (I think in 4.25), but you’d get 404’d if you try to access that page now…Also, I hear the wiki is gone…I hadn’t even had a chance to check that out. I don’t understand when documentation comes standard for any software suite. Unreal’s documentation seems broken at times an non-existent at others.
