I think there’s only one of us trying to fight a war. 
The others are in agreement. Blender CAN do the job. Is it the best option for you? It depends on personal preference. Some prefer it, some prefer other programs, like MODO, or Maya. Or others. If you are are happy with Blender, and it does everything you want, in a way that is comfortable for you to work, that’s fantastic.
