You’re right that it’s an issue to not have the tut updated or at least post a warning. I don’t think it’s that they don’t care, it’s more likely a problem with not enough manpower to catch and fix all these things… The new templates are an improvement over the old ones for sure but unfortunately a LOT of tutorials are based on the old templates.
