I self identify as a Gamer, it fits.
This YouTube has significantly improved my view on the term: GAMER
It’s neither. It’s just a term for people who enjoys playing games. A person relaxes during his day offs by playing is a gamer. A person who doesn’t work but plays games all day long is a gamer too.
It’s a good thing. Games are shown to be fundamental in human interaction and is the basis for child learning. Without gaming (in any form, electronic, board, playground) human development would be rapidly stunted, it allows us to learn important information without negative repercussions. Being labelled a gamer is a good thing imo, it means you’re human. Humans that never play games are shown to be drastically less intelligent and creative.
A term “Gamer” will depend on how one uses it. Playing games is a common activity to relax and enjoy. Otherwise, if one thought about it with a bad intention then , one will not be happy to be called a “Gamer”
I think so, that it’s good, killing virtual monsters perfectly removes stress, and a joint hobby for a couple strengthens the relationship.
