Wait a second! I upvoted this thinking it actually works but none of these 3 options changes the controller behavior. ITs now 2020. Has there been a fix for this?

I just got reminded about this issue - I undid 20 years of first person shooter training and learnt to control the mouse without inversion … it was faster than waiting for a fix

It’s simple. Just go to Edit → Project Settings
Click Input on the left panel Change the Lookup “mouse Y” scale to -1.
That’s it!
