Congrats that is well deserved. Happy to recognize most of the names on the list, all whom make great contributions to the community!
Congrats to and else on that list! Well deserved! =)
Any we can get some answers? It’s been a while…
I’m assuming the grants require a game that was built by a team, not a single developer, right? ;_;
No, can get the . It doesn’t matter at all if you are working alone or in team, as long as something impressive and perspective is being created.
Just applied a for my newest project and cant wait to hear back!
Fingers crossed

Thanks for the opportunity to show you guys my project and a for some extra funding that could go a long way!
I have a question though, will I get some kind of email if you decide not to back me?
As I will get worried if I havent heard anything back in a few weeks xD
Thanks!
I am wondering if it is possible to apply for the Unreal Dev on the provision that the project remain under the radar and not in the eye, even if the project is well and truly a working, polished, playable prototype? If so, I presume chances of success would be drastically reduced.
It was just a side thought I had while preparing my prototype for submission over the last few months. But is not a limiting factor for my application when I do decide to apply.
I would guess that Epic Games would want to show off the amazing work of the Dev winners, so the idea of an unannounced game project being successful in application would probably be next to none, even if it is incredible.
Its my understanding that some dev winners weren’t publicized, and that Epic accommodates projects that haven’t been publicly announced yet.
Could you not ask the community for feedback instead?
Just apply for the funding with your project,
People asking for feedback is whats delaying all the responses and grants
Sorry Kiatus, thats what I was reading earlier in this forum.
What is then?
Ok I will delete my post and put it in a better forum. Sorry about that!
Try the work in progress page
goodluck!
Alright so… Sent an application containing my super awesome amazing mind=blowen project ready to rock Epic’s World. Waiting to hear the news of the earth quake it’s gonna cause when checks it out
great:This is a good news
just for the record… again:
3 months since our application, no GDD or APk downloaded.
In terms of a prototype, how far along must it be. For example if I have most of my basic elements in a working prototype, but still needs some features, should those features be present during the application process? I am still working on some weapons, but my biggest challenge will be a real time scan that will tell you about the environment. Yet I am not ready to show this feature off yet. Or is it possible to create a small level that could show off what I have done so far and at least a feel of the game? Please let me know. Thanks Epic!!!
hey unreal engine team…
A project…A couple of days Will be checked!!!
Well, we lost hope long time ago about Unreal Dev Grants.
“The rotten god” was submitted to the program (April 10)… no word.
We can suppose that Epic don’t approve this kind of games or maybe our project has not enough quality.
Eleven people, no money, no resources, no place… No one of us worked never in videogames but, we expend 2 years and half in order to do this.
And nothing is going to stop us!
If You want to do something, just do it!

But anyway thank you Epic, ue4 is amazing!
The Rotten God, it will be presented at “Madrid Games Week”.
