Great, looking forward to it,thanks!
Question: Would it be possible to make the current version of the plugin available via github?
Even if it is not completed or working perfectly, seeing example code importing/updating assets via Python Remote Execution would be very valuable.
There are not many examples using Remote Execution and the built-in Python Plugin. Even at the state it was in last screencast would be very helpful.
This would open many doors and allow community contributions…
Looking forward to screencast…
Jim Kroovy’s plugin is looking really promising, been following it for a while. He’s worked on one feature which most Blender/UE plugins forget: being able to import UE animations into Blender, e.g. if you want to do minor tweaks/edits to marketplace animations.
On that note, @VictorLerp any word on whether this feature will be considered for “UE_to_Rigify”?
In any case, always fantastic to see Blender getting some love - thank you very much.
Question: When and where can we get our hands on this fantastic tool?
Excitement through the roof! I am thinking about this for four days, when its gonna be released.I hope soon . Love you Epic.
I love it very much.Since I got my gaming laptop.:]
when will this addon be freely available?
The tools are still in development and we have not announced a release date yet. We’re working on having them available for you as soon as possible!
Looking forward to this stream, the first part was awesome. And looking forward to the tools of course. Thanks for the great work!
nice, very cool
Luv’n the Blender Luv !!! <3
so cool it’s looking like a real robot.
Is there any way to beta test these tools ?
Would love to try them out even in their current , unfinished state

Will we be able we be able to load rig’s like the UE4 rigs used Quang Phan’s male Female rigs traighten them up so us new user can read/understand them and store them for using on new models. The idea is, and what I’d like to do is load new character OBJ’s and bind them to a Quang rig (because thats what I have in use) and get charcaters with different features etc so they don’t all lole the same or like family, they acually are different
Feedback wise, You are missing the shoulder twist on the final rig. Those aren’t standard Rigify controls, so I ended up having to add control bones to get them to build. You might consider providing a similar option since they do prove useful to adjust upper body animations.
Thanks for going into detail on the under the hood stuff. Most of it is Identical to my plugin and probably mr.mannequin - makes sense too since it’s not like you can re-invent the wheel.
Is there any release date for this?
I cannot find any information on how to get it.
Thanks.
I am very excited for the stream, they’re rocking it!
Please cooperate with Jim Kroovy - we REALLY need a good stuff for making our characters imported into UE4. Now, it is a true pain. And please make it available as quickly as possible.
I’ve been watching these streams closely, since I’m independently developing Brigge for Meshes, which gets FBX totally out of your pipeline. We’ve offered it as early access since January, and after months of feedback and fixes it’s pretty solid. It doesn’t have the same animation focus as Epic’s addon, but rocks at props, vehicles, hard surface & environment art! Check out our release history to see if it fits your needs.
Hello,
on last version (1.4.13) with UE4 4.25.4 can’t get it work at all.
Every preferences/setup is done has it should be but I get blender error:
Any idea where I did something wrong ?
Thanks for any help !
