In NcCloth simulation, why do parameters like Bend and Shear stiffness not change cloth behavior at all?

try giving the bend constraint a value of 0.001, should fold nicely. A value of 1 will make it look stiffer. Same with shear, etc. Still trying to figure out what the Vertical and Horizontal constraints do…
