It appears that the copy folder has saved the same stuff as the original so i am stuck with the messed up folder. I also can’t reset it to an earlier version so i’m stuck.

Sometimes, there can be something in the folder autosaves ( off the main project folder ), if you had autosave enabled.
I am unsure if I have the autosaves but if I do I will check there, I won’t be able to find it until later tonight because I am a bit busy right now with family.
One question, if this doesn’t work, and I theoretically can’t contact the vendor (just asking because I know I could but if I couldn’t), would I have to reset?
I think if you don’t have the correct files anymore, you do have a problem 
Well the only thing in auto saves is a PackageRestoreData file, i don’t know what to do with that
Regarding the issue, is the only way to fix it be by contacting the vendor?

If we forget packaging and Steam for a moment, can you still just open your project and use it normally?
Yea I am gonna test the whole game later but at the moment I can get into the editor
The editor files work perfectly fine, it’s just when i try and package it creates the error. I have NO clue what to do, and if this means my whole game is broken and i have to reset, technically i would of had to anyway because i was going to make the project a DLC later on with the main game being a bigger project and the project i have now was going to be backstory and lore. It will be really annoying though because i’d have to spend SO much more time remaking everything (i would’ve had to do it anyway so i can’t really complain but it is still irritating). On the plus side, i will be able to plan ahead A LOT. Please come back to me if you have anymore ideas.

Ok, so your game is ok? That’s good. Definitely keep a backup.
What is your latest packaging error? ( don’t do the upload yet ).
My game in the editor works, but nothing else does, and I will make a copy of it just in case.
Do you mean, what is the first error that pops up if i run the game but don’t package?
