Changing the thumbnails sure sounds cool I managed to find some information on doing just that. Though it may not be as simple as changing a map, or a static mesh’s thumbnail. The members here, go over how they accomplished their goal of changing the thumbnail.
This solution is not “easy” per se (that is subjective), but it is quite straightforward.
