I want to learn how to make games in Unreal Engine 5. It’s been my dream and goal since I was a kid. I’ve tried watching tutorials, but I feel lost and don’t know where or how to really start. If anyone has tips or a clear path for beginners, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks!

I’d recommend deciding on the game you wish to make, then find tutorials for that genre and learn what you need to when you need to. This tends to be easier than starting at chapter 1 of the UE user guide, unless you wish to take a course. Godspeed.
Hey, just saw your post today. If you have the money to pay, then do Coursera by Epic Games, this covers most of the basics and will give you a better understanding of where to go next when you finish this course and if you don’t have money then try this course instead (2.5D Game), this is little bit advanced for beginners but if you push it through you will learn a lot of cool stuff.
After finishing these courses, you will mostly understand more about where you want to go next and these courses will also test your determination to see if you are actually serious about this as a career. I personally finished both of the course above and I am thankful to things I have learned, it’s not perfect but nothing is!
Important Reminder: Do not listen to people who tell you how hard it is right now in the Game Industry or you know nothing, so you should just pack your bags! This will only slow you down and tamper with your mindset. Find one course you like and stick to it until you finish it. Don’t give up and hydrate!
