I need help creating feature in an FPS game

Looks like the weapon continues in the direction of the momentum

Id search for something like “unreal gun how to add rotational momentum”

Idk how much help this will be to you, perhaps you’ve already tried that

Ive never had a go at making anything quite like this but if i were to try i would get the rotation of the player and somehow find out how fast theyve turned/moved and impart that velocity onto the gun… its probabbly quite similar to “gun recoil” if i had to guess but i’ve never done that yet either

Give this a try and see if tweaking those values he mentions towards the end gets you your desired effect
