How to make a 3D Line of Sight System?

ok so now I am trying to do the effect from a different axis, basically add on another angle to build the post process from. Not sure if itll work, but I think its worth a try.


So, like basically rotating the circle of traces 90 degrees to face forward rather than down, along with the down one already present

EDIT: ah dam! just realized, all the color is gone. The post process mask has taken all the color away!

EDIT2: btw, do you know how we could possibly use the shadow of a dynamic light and overlay ontop of everything on screen? so that its not affected by any lights?

It has to take height/elevation into account
