How to get the location of a child tag from another class?

no, as far as I know this don’t exist.

yes but the player is in total control about where they rotate

  • the points players generate are anchor points around which they can swing, right?
  • there are no attract / repel forces involved
  • is the player momentum important? If I rush forward, jump, fire a point, will the momentum carry me over? like on a swing / rope
  • you also mentioned mouse movement at some point, not sure how that can even translate in FPS mode

Sorry, atm I am unable to conceptualise what needs doing. It might be me issue, though. :face_holding_back_tears: My mind be like:

  1. yes, but of course only one at a time.
  2. Nope
  3. no, I imagine the player will stop immediately, Oh a good example would be the camera in a third person game, the way the camera rotates freely around the player, but just imagine the player being the anchor point, and the player being the camera in our case.
  4. yes the idea was to rotate around the point using the mouse, but the player will always look straight at the point, so when the black hole is spawned the player cant look around themselves, only the black hole can rotate.

your helping more than others have so that am I very grateful for.

also… I once hired a programmer to try and make this in unity, he said it was physically impossible, so now we are here

YES that’s exactly it! what happens if you move the mouse quickly and let go?

Nothing yet. It needs adding. Was just toying with this. I’ll clean it up and push it your way, it will need tweaking.
