How Can We Thank the Talented Artists Behind These Stunning Assets?

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been amazed by a plugin’s ingenuity, or immersed myself in a gorgeous sci-fi or medieval environment, or discovered a perfect soundtrack—all thanks to the Epic monthly giveaways. Yet despite my best intentions, I can never use even a third of these assets in my projects. Some are perfect for a few minutes (or hours) of fun, but don’t fit my long-term game ideas.

That’s when I wondered: if I enjoy exploring a medieval town crafted by a small team, isn’t it only fair to share that experience with players?

Introducing: Paradigm Playgrounds

Paradigm Playgrounds is a playable showcase of Unreal Engine assets—mini-games, demos, and raw templates you can download and experiment with yourself.

There are 3 main categories:

Want to Share an Asset You Love?

Hey everyone—if you’ve ever grabbed a free asset from Epic (or even paid for one) and thought, “Wow, how much work went into this!”, here’s a simple way to say thanks and let others enjoy it:
(we’re talking about exported .exe projects—playable demos and games—not raw Unreal asset files!)

  1. Drop it in our ModDB hub
    https://www.moddb.com/company/karol-grodecki/downloads
(You just need a free ModDB account—nothing fancy, promise.)
  2. Or ping me directly
I’ll happily post your link on Paradigm Playgrounds or feature it on my blog.

No corporate pitch here—just a fellow dev saying, “Hey, this creator nailed it. Let’s give them some love and let players discover it!” You stay in control of your upload; I just help spread the word.

Paradigm Playgrounds is a brand-new site for independent UE projects, but it’s tightly connected to our Paradigm Worlds hub on ModDB (https://www.moddb.com/mods/paradigm-worlds), where a friendly community of players, devs, and modders already loves gaming experiments and unusual projects.

So if you know anyone—players, devs, modders, or anyone curious about hands-on game experiments—please send them our way. They’re more than welcome to jump in, try demos, and share their favorites. Let’s build a space where we can all play, learn, and create together! :rocket:
