I’m making an enemy in my horror game, when he gets close to the player, he will reproduce a Jumpscars, I wanted to know if it is possible to do this jumpscare with sequences, that can be played in any location.
Hi did you resolve the problem ? i have the same problem…
What exactly is this jump scare? Is it some sort of image, effect or sound that flashes on the screen at certain events? Will the enemy be jumping out at the player? More details on exactly what your aiming for would help
it’s something like Poppy playtime , you know the chase with hughy wuggy
hera a video about what i’am talking https://youtu.be/x6AG3BNWZUg?si=VgRf3ztBdPa9cMES
in this video i would like to add a jumpscare if the player has been catch
Hey, not yet
You are in a level sequence and you try to put a jumpscare if the monster grabs the player?

Hey! So, this question is kinda old lol, like, 2 years, and I honestly can’t remember what I was trying to do lol. I think it was about animating jumpscares using cinematics anywhere. The solution I believe could work is using camera animations synchronized with a jumpscare or the monster attack animation.
Did you succeed? Because I created a chase sequence in which if the player gets caught by the monster, it gives them a jumpscare, a bit like the chase sequences we have in Poppy Playtime.
