If anyone has a link to any learning material on here or elsewhere that might be associated with this then that would be great I can look into the more specific’s of how everything works that way also
That means BP_PlayerOneHudTest is not the Pawn in game. (Could you confirm if it’s actually the pawn by using a Print String on Button Clicked and Printing Get Player Pawn)
How did you set BP_PlayerOneHudTest as the Pawn?
-
Did you drag it into the level? if so, did you set it’s Auto Possess property?
-
Did you set it through the Game Mode? if so, is the Game Mode assigned correctly to the Level?
Here’s a visualization:
Hold up, this is irrelevant actually. Anyways no need for me to delete this post since there’s no harm in some additional info.
Nope! I checked and I had the default pawn set to a previous pawn test bp I wasn’t using anymore, so thanks for pointing that out that was obviously a problem. With that now though there’s a number of other issues (I’m sure you can imagine) which I should be able to figure out, hopefully along with one to my original question here, I’ll have to work on it a bit so it will probably take me a couple days, I’ll update wether I get a solution or not, but thanks for now!
Yea anything that helps learning is always helpful thanks
