Type 081 Mine Countermeasures Ship (NATO code name: Wochi class) Wechi class) is a type of offshore minesweeper under the Chinese Navy, and a new type of offshore minesweeper built by the Chinese Navy after the Type 082II Wecang class minesweeper.
Type 081 is a base minesweeper with a maximum displacement of 996 tons. It has the characteristics of good concealing performance, long endurance and high mine-clearing accuracy, and can clear a variety of mines day and night [1].
At the commissioning ceremony of the navy's new minesweeper Zhangjiagang on March 5, 2007, the banner "Naming and flagging Ceremony of the Type 081 minesweeper Zhangjiagang of the People's Liberation Army Navy" proved that 081 is the code name of China's new generation of minesweeper.
081型扫雷舰（英文：Type 081 Mine Countermeasures Ship，北约代号：Wochi class，中文：涡驰级），是中国海军隶下的一型近海扫雷舰，也是中国海军继082II型涡藏级猎扫雷舰之后，建造的一款新型近海扫雷舰。
081型属于基地扫雷舰，最大排水量996吨，具有隐蔽性能好、续航力长、扫雷精度高等特点，能昼夜扫除多种水雷 [1]。
在2007年3月5日海军新扫雷舰张家港号的服役仪式上，“中国人民解放军海军081型扫雷舰张家港舰命名授旗典礼”横幅证明了081为中国新一代扫雷舰的代号。
