This week, I focused on completing the hero assets, ensuring they are polished, optimized, and ready for integration into the final scene. Each asset was carefully reviewed for consistency in style, scale, and performance, aligning with the overall visual direction of the project. I also made refinements where necessary to maintain a high-quality standard across all key elements.
In parallel, I dedicated time to developing and refining particle effects, particularly for the fountain feature. The goal was to create a visually appealing and dynamic water effect that adds life and motion to the environment. I experimented with different parameters such as emission rates, velocity, opacity, and shader adjustments to achieve a realistic look. The particles were also tested under various lighting conditions to ensure they blend seamlessly into the scene.
Beyond the particle work, I made several adjustments to the environment to enhance its overall composition and atmosphere. This included tweaking lighting setups, adjusting material properties, and rebalancing certain scene elements to improve visual harmony. These changes were made with the intent to not only improve aesthetic quality but also to guide the viewer’s eye more effectively through the scene.
Altogether, these updates contribute significantly to the project’s progress and visual impact. The hero assets now serve as strong focal points, the fountain particles add dynamic movement, and the overall scene feels more polished and cohesive. I’ll continue building on this momentum in the coming week, with a focus on fine-tuning secondary elements and beginning the final polish pass.
