This week, I made significant progress on my project by adding a Paragon character from the fan community, which enhanced the visual diversity and appeal of my scene. Incorporating this character allowed me to experiment with different art styles and improve my integration skills within the environment.
Additionally, I focused on the modeling of the hero asset, Poseidon, the Greek god. I dedicated time to refining his anatomy, armor, and weapon details to ensure accuracy and grandeur, aiming to capture the mythological essence. This process involved multiple iterations to achieve a balanced and dynamic model that stands out as the centerpiece of the scene.
To bring more life and vibrancy to the environment, I added small decals and plant elements. These details help break the monotony of large surfaces and add realism, making the scene more immersive. The plants, in particular, introduce natural variation, while decals such as moss or cracks contribute to a sense of age and authenticity.
Overall, this week was productive, combining character integration, detailed modeling, and environmental enhancements to create a richer and more engaging scene.
