Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy in the US)
Love the atmosphere, the characters, and about half the story. A remake is in order for the latter half, and some visuals. Animation quality is spotty, some really good stuff mixed in with some really bad stuff. Unfortunately, the good makes the bad really stand out. The story itself opens up really well (especially the intro), however, it falls flat on it’s face after that which is a shame. I had high hopes for it. Overal howeverl, I can tell there was strong effort put in, I’d love for this to get a second lease on life.
Gameplay, well, really, it’s an interactive movie as opposed to an actual game, so there is relatively little. However, something like this can provide an in-depth story experience on mobile without suffering the usual touchscreen limitations.

Well, seeing Wizardry 8 remade in UE4 (or pretty much any modern engine) would be wonderful to see. The game was an RPG classic.
I know it’s not that old, but I wish Dragon Age Origins was made in UE4. (And its sequels, not least because it would make them moddable.

I am currently fiddling with my own Majesty-based game idea in my spare time. Maybe I’ll post some shots of it once it looks ok (mostly placeholder art right now).
I’d do just about anything for another Arcanum game. I remember playing that as a teen and having my first “games are art” moment.
Battle Zone 1:

all of the Warhammer 40,000 games , oops that me best get my finger out and get some work done
Several good suggestions in , especially Jedi Knight would be great.
To put forward more, Unreal Engine seems to be the Tactical Shooter engine of choice, so a Rainbow Six 3 or S.W.A.T. 4 remake would be pretty great.
Not so much a remake as a sequel, but sequels to Chrono Cross and Legend of Dragoon is something I would pay good money for! I miss the older JRPG system that has fallen by the wayside in recent years.
For an actual remake - Final Fantasy: Tactics.
Oh man, I miss the Jedi Knight games. That would be on UE4. If only the game industry could take a cue from the film industry and pump out a few remakes.

This for the reason it’s all pre-rendered 3d, but how cool would it be to bring it into the next gen with actual rendered 3d.
There’s loads of PC, 3DO, SEGA CD titles that use FMV etc… That could be re-imagined in UE4. Some of these games actual had great ideas and great potential but the technology just wasn’t there yet.
Lol is a 4k image from twilight princess with an hd texture pack running through the dolphin emulator. Just imagine if they were using modern lighting, tressfx for the hair, with some op DOP. *Shivers. Makes me fanboy all over.

Well good old Unreal 1 would be very interesting. Also Heretic II and Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. I miss old LucasArts games.
