Fracture tabs not appearing

It sounds like you may have accidentally changed the view settings of the Fracture tool.

To restore the missing options, you can try the following:

  1. In the Unreal Editor, navigate to the Actor that you want to fracture.

  2. In the Components panel, select the mesh component that you want to fracture.

  3. In the Details panel, scroll down to the “Fracture” section.

  4. Make sure that the “Fracture” toggle is enabled.

  5. Click the “Fracture” button to open the Fracture Editor.

  6. In the top-right corner of the Fracture Editor, you should see a button labeled “View”. Click this button to open the view options.

  7. Make sure that the “Advanced” option is enabled.

  8. If it is not enabled, click it to enable it, this should restore all the missing options.

It is also important to note that the options like Create, New Layer, and Uniform Fracture are only available when you are in “Advanced View” mode and you have the correct version of Unreal Engine 5.

If you have made sure that you are in “Advanced View” and you still can’t see the options, you might want to check if you have the latest version of Unreal Engine 5. If not, you can update your engine via the Epic Games launcher.
