The live training video below shows how to set up and toggle left and right guard rails on a road spline mesh.
Maybe like in the video, try making the sides of your road a separate mesh component (akin to the left and right guard rails). You’ll have to attach them all individually, but this way you can just disable the road edges at your intersections.
