Finding work without experience is tough.

Throwing money to make thing better usually makes things worse! (But it’s the EU… They do whatever EUROPE does NOT want.)

I get this feeling from X posts that its not working in Game Development that is the problem.

I’ve had a job that I hated but it paid the bills comfortably I was grateful I had a nice Lady and good set of friends but my day job depressed me, I was becoming a very negative person and it started to creep into my thoughts that I need to change something but was to scared that another company, it might be worse etc…

My advice to you X is attempt to get a new job to support yourself, maybe even move to rent a different home (assuming you don’t own a house) and do your game development in your spare time till you release something and smile at the world because you made it against the odds of having a family and job! We all need something fresh in our lives, something that rocks the boat a bit.

I wish you good luck, the community is always here.

Socialism = Throwing other people’s money at a “problem” thinking they will fix the problem. Problem still not fixed? Throw more money at it.

As Peter Schiff says, “Any idiot can redistribute wealth, it’s creating wealth in the first place that’s the hard part”.

That said, there are indeed tons of “startup” cash flowing around, some will find their way to game development.

Definitely! It is difficult and It is absolutely true in my case. After graduating, I was stuck in a rut to find a job because of no experience. As Spider X said, most of good-paid jobs require 2+ years experiences. Finally, I decided to apply for Intern programmes and gain experience gradually.

I am sorry to here that, I wish you good luck.
