Fbx Groups with multiple objects

I’m a unity user and now I’m trying to learn unreal engine so I’m doing my little tests.

a) I want to import in unreal a (3d model) closet composed by 2 doors and some drawers. The closet is built in 3dsMax and exported in fbx so all the single objects have theyr own pivot. Problem is importing in unreal even If I uncheck combine mesh I got 3 separate entities and some with the pivot completely wrong… there is a way to import the objects with the parenting already set like in unity? Is kinda more simple to deal with one group and after you can animate single objects with the pivots in the right spot.

b) from what I understood there is no culling on unreal cameras? in unity you can set the culling camera option and the camera will render just what it seeing. not in unreal? Unreal renders always the all leves even if is not in the camera sight of view?

Unfortunately I don’t think this exists yet, UE4 applies the pivot point from the centre of the world transform in the 3d modelling program, not from the objects individual pivot point.

I would like to see this too, hopefully in the future!

Not sure about the culling though…
