This solution worked for me. You’d find UE4Editor.exe under C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.27\Engine\Binaries\Win64 (or whatever other directory you installed it in)

What worked for me, is i right clicked the UPROJECT file in the file explorer, and i set its default app to the UE4Editor.exe under the unreal install. (Likely would be UE5Editor.exe for UE5 of course)
