Good afternoon!
My problem is that at ultra-wide resolutions, players have extremely low frame rates, while the GPU load becomes 100%:
even with the lowest graphics settings, vsync off etc, I get 6 to 8 fps. I’ve tried the different graphics APIs, fullscreen/windowed mode, and the only thing that makes a difference is not running it in ultra widescreen.
5120 x 1440 = 8 fps, 100% GPU
2560 x 1440 = 110 fps, 37% GPU
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64 Build 22631
CPU: i9-14900K
RAM: 64 GB
GPU: RTX 4090 Game Ready Driver 572.83
Desktop Resolution: 5120x1440@240Hz SDR
Windows “Game Mode” Enabled
Resizable BAR: Enabled
No noticeable change with G-Sync off, using Dx11 or Vulkan except Vulkan went up from 8 fps to 18 fps, and 400 fps @ 80% GPU when I drop the 3D resolution back to <80%
The project is based on Unreal Engine 4.27, without modifications
Does anyone have any ideas?
